Jordan Montgomery struck in head with batted ball in batting practice

New York Yankees left-handed starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery was struck in the head by a batted ball while signing autographs during batting practice, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

Montgomery sat on the bench for a few minutes holding a towel to his head before going down into the clubhouse, per Rosenthal.

Thankfully, per Joel Sherman, Montgomery is in uniform Saturday and is expected to make his scheduled start on Sunday.
