According to an official statement from manager Joe Girardi on Monday morning, New York Yankees’ starting shortstop Didi Gregorius has sustained a right shoulder injury. While injuring his throwing arm during the 2017 World Baseball Classic, the veteran middle infielder is now flying back to Tampa Bay, Florida in order to undergo further testing later on in the week.
