Baseball's all-time saves leader Mariano Rivera is ready to go for 2013, fully healed from a torn ACL that prematurely ended his 2012 campaign. According to Christian Red of the New York Daily News, Rivera's knee has healed accordingly and will be a full-go when spring training commences on Wednesday, February 13,

" “I feel great,” Mariano Rivera said Tuesday night.”

Rivera, who was quoted while attending a "Fans 4 the Cure" cancer charity panel discussion in Manhattan Tuesday night, enters 2013 on a one-year, $10 million pact with the Yankees. At 43 years old, there is speculation this could be Rivera's final season, however such speculation will be put to rest during spring training, when it is anticipated Rivera will reveal his 2014 plans.

With his return, manager Joe Girardi can comfortably insert the greatest closer in baseball history in the ninth inning again this season. Rivera enters 2013 with 608 career saves and a career ERA of 2.23. Additionally, Rivera is also the all-time postseason saves leader by a wide margin, closing the door on 42 games.
