Coming off a record-breaking postseason with the New York Yankees, free agent Raul Ibanez is drawing interest from several teams around the league, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

The Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, and Texas Rangers are among the teams interested in Ibanez. The Yankees have also had talks with his agent.

Ibanez, 40, hit .240 with 19 home runs and 62 RBI last season in his first year with the Yankees. He signed with New York before the season to be a part-time designated hitter, but injuries led to the aging veteran playing in 130 games, including 93 as an outfielder.

After a hot start, Ibanez cooled down in the second half of the season. However, he stepped up in the postseason, hitting .318 with three home runs and five RBI in eight games before being eliminated by the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS. He also set the postseason record for most home runs in the ninth inning or later in a single postseason with two ninth inning home runs and one in extra innings.

After solidifying their pitching staff by resigning Hiroki Kuroda, Andy Pettitte, and Mariano Rivera, the Yankees have now turned their attention to offense. However, the free agent market is shrinking quickly and the Yankees still have holes to fill at catcher, third base, and right field.

Along with Ibanez, the Yankees have expressed interest in resigning Ichiro Suzuki and have shown interest in free agents Scott Hairston and Nate Schierholtz as corner outfield options.
