New York Yankees, Hiroki Kuroda Blank Chicago White Sox in 4-0 Win

The New York Yankees, led by starter Hiroki Kuroda, shut out the Chicago White Sox to win 4-0 Saturday afternoon.

Kuroda pitched seven shutout innings and struck out 11 as he picked up his eighth win of the season.

David Robertson pitched the eighth and retired all three batters he faced.

Boone Logan started the ninth and got the first out, then was replaced by closer Rafael Soriano who got the final two outs of the game.

The Yankees offense was powered by three home runs, coming from Curtis Granderson, and Dewayne Wise. Wise finished the game 3-3 with two RBI.

The Yankees and White Sox will play Sunday at 2:05 PM ET. Prior to the game, the Yankees will be having Old Timer’s Day.
